TTRPG World at L.A. Comic Con 2026 — Official Rules
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
1. Overview
These Official Rules govern the TTRPG World in-person promotions at L.A. Comic Con 2026 (together, the "Promotion"):
Free gifts for subscribing and following (Section 4).
Prize Wheel, an instant-win game (Section 5).
Dice Ladder, a dice-rolling game (Section 6).
Daily Prize Draw, a random drawing held once each day (Section 7).
Backstory Sunday, a community feature with no prize (Section 9).
By taking part in any of them, you agree to these Official Rules and to the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final on all matters relating to the Promotion. The Promotion is in person only: nothing can be played, entered or won online.
2. Sponsor, place and dates

The Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, L.A. Comic Con or its organizers.
3. Who can take part
You must be physically present at our table at L.A. Comic Con 2026 and 13 years of age or older. L.A. Comic Con admission is required and sold separately; we do not provide badges.
If you are 13–17, you need permission from a parent or legal guardian. To claim a Daily Prize Draw prize, a parent or legal guardian must be at the table and accept the prize on your behalf.
We do not knowingly collect email addresses from anyone under 13.
Employees and owners of TTRPG World LLC, people helping run our table, and members of their immediate families and households may not take part.
Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Each participant must use their own email address and Instagram account. One person may not use several emails or accounts to get extra gifts, spins or tickets.
4. Free gifts, spins and tickets
Show us proof at the table (your subscription confirmation, your follow, or your repost) and we hand out the following. The d20, sticker and clicker are free gifts, not prizes of chance; gifts are available while supplies last.
Subscribe to TTRPG World email updates on ttrpgworld.com or at our table: 1 d20 + 1 Prize Wheel spin + 1 Daily Prize Draw ticket. Once per person for the whole show.
Follow @ttrpg_world on Instagram: 1 sticker. Once per person.
Repost our L.A. Comic Con post and tag @ttrpg_world, with #sweepstakes in your caption (Section 8): 1 clicker + 1 extra Prize Wheel spin. Once per person.
Bring your clicker back to our table on a later show day: 1 new d20 + 1 Dice Ladder climb. Once per person per day (Saturday and Sunday).
Make a purchase at our table, or ask for a free one (Section 7): 1 Bonus Ticket for that day's Daily Prize Draw. Once per person per day.
Subscribing is free and you can unsubscribe at any time; unsubscribing later does not take back gifts, spins or tickets already received.
5. Prize Wheel
How to play: show a spin you earned (Section 4) and spin the wheel at our table yourself. Spins can be used any time during show-floor hours until the show closes on Sunday, November 1, 2026; unused spins expire then and have no value.
What is on the wheel: 20 equal slices, and every slice wins. The odds of each result on a single spin, with the approximate retail value (ARV) of each prize:
20% off one purchase (code, Section 10): 5 slices · odds 1 in 4 (25%) · value depends on purchase
40% off one purchase (code, Section 10): 4 slices · odds 1 in 5 (20%) · value depends on purchase
TTRPG World pencil: 3 slices · odds 3 in 20 (15%) · ARV $1
Sticker: 3 slices · odds 3 in 20 (15%) · ARV $0.50
Pocket mini dice set: 2 slices · odds 1 in 10 (10%) · ARV $2
Spin again (one extra spin, right away): 2 slices · odds 1 in 10 (10%)
Dice Case Module: 1 slice · odds 1 in 20 (5%) · ARV $16
Fair spin: the wheel must turn at least one full rotation. If it stops on a line between slices or the spin is not complete, you spin again. Our table staff decide what counts.
If a prize runs out: we cover that slice with a label naming a substitute of equal or greater value, so the wheel always shows what each slice awards. The number of slices, and so the odds, stays the same.
6. Dice Ladder
When you play: each Dice Ladder climb comes with a d20 you receive under Section 4. You roll at our table, one roll per step, while your Prize Wheel spin is in progress or right after it.
How it works:
Drop your d20 through the dice tower of our SORTuX tray. A natural 20 wins a d10, a TTRPG World pencil (ARV $1) and a pocket mini dice set (ARV $2), and moves you up a step.
Roll the d10 in our Vampire tray. A 10 (shown as "10" or "0" on the die) wins a d6 and moves you up a step.
Roll the d6. A 6 wins a Dice Case Module (ARV $16).
Any other result ends that climb. You keep every die and item you win along the way.
Odds: 1 in 20 at step 1, 1 in 10 at step 2, 1 in 6 at step 3. The odds of reaching and winning the Dice Case on any single climb are 1 in 1,200.
Fair roll: a die must come to rest flat inside the tray. If it lands tilted, leaves the tray, or is touched before it stops, you roll that step again. Our table staff decide what counts.
7. Daily Prize Draw
Tickets: a ticket enters the Daily Prize Draw held on the day you receive it. Write your first name and last initial on the stub; we keep the ticket, you keep the stub. Tickets do not carry over to the next day.
Subscription Ticket: one per person for the whole show (Section 4).
Bonus Ticket: one per person per day. You get it either with any purchase at our table, or for free by asking for one at our table, no purchase needed. Free Bonus Tickets are identical to purchase Bonus Tickets and have the same chance of winning. Limit: one Bonus Ticket per person per day, whichever way you get it.
The drawing: each day at the time in Section 2, our staff draw tickets at random, in public, from a closed container at our table. The first ticket drawn wins Prize 1, the second Prize 2, the third Prize 3.
Be there: we call the name on the ticket. The holder of the matching stub must be at our table within 5 minutes to claim. If not, that ticket is set aside and we draw again for that prize. Each person can win only one Daily Prize Draw prize during the whole show.
Prizes, awarded each day (three days, nine prizes in total):
Prize 1: winner's choice of one Vampire tray (for V5) or one SORTuX tray (for 5E); colors subject to availability. ARV $28 (Vampire tray) or $69 (SORTuX tray), depending on the winner's choice
Prize 2: one Dice Case Module. ARV $16
Prize 3: one Backstory sheet set (player sheet, GM sheet and GM holder). ARV $14
Total ARV of all Daily Prize Draw prizes: $174 to $297 over the three days ($58 to $99 per day), depending on which tray each Prize 1 winner chooses.
Odds: the odds of winning depend on the number of eligible tickets in that day's draw.
8. Instagram
Reposts: because a repost earns an extra Prize Wheel spin, your repost must say so. Include #sweepstakes (or "#ad") in the caption or on the story, and tag @ttrpg_world. A repost without it does not count.
Tag accurately: tag @ttrpg_world and only people who actually appear in or are part of what you post. Do not tag people in content they are not in.
Your account must be public, or the post must be visible to us, for us to check it at the table. You must follow Instagram's Terms of Use.
This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. By taking part you release Instagram and Meta completely from any liability connected with the Promotion. Questions go to the Sponsor, not to Instagram.
9. Backstory Sunday
On Sunday, November 1, 2026, during show-floor hours, we give one free player sheet from our Backstory sheet set to each participant, while supplies last. Backstory Sunday has no prize: it is a community feature, not a contest.
Fill in the sheet for a character you are playing now and hand it to us at the table (or let us photograph it).
Write your GM's Instagram handle on it, only if your GM has agreed to be tagged.
We tag your GM on Instagram with ideas for using your backstory in play.
We pick the 10 submissions we like most, at our sole discretion, and share them in our Instagram stories between November 2 and November 4, 2026. Everyone else with a GM handle gets our notes by direct message.
Your content: you confirm the backstory is your own writing, does not copy anyone else's protected text or art, and contains no personal information such as addresses or phone numbers. You grant TTRPG World LLC a free, non-exclusive license to photograph, post and share your sheet and your Instagram handle on our social media and website, crediting you by handle. We may decline to share any submission we consider inappropriate.
10. Discount codes from the Prize Wheel
A 20% or 40% off result gives you a discount code for one purchase, either at our table during the show or online at ttrpgworld.com. Codes are valid for 30 days, until December 1, 2026, 11:59 pm Pacific.
The discount applies to the product price only, not to shipping or taxes, and cannot be combined with other discount codes.
Codes have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are void if sold or transferred for value. Lost codes cannot be replaced.
We hand you the code on a card at our table right after your spin. Each code can be used once per customer.
11. General terms
Prizes: awarded as described and handed over at our table; nothing is shipped. Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred, except that the Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if one becomes unavailable. Any taxes on a prize are the winner's responsibility.
Fair play: we may refuse or take back gifts, spins, tickets or prizes from anyone who uses several emails or accounts, tampers with the wheel or dice, breaks these rules, or behaves abusively. We may pause the games to keep the aisle clear under L.A. Comic Con rules.
Changes and cancellation: if L.A. Comic Con is cancelled, shortened or disrupted, or something beyond our control affects the Promotion, we may change, pause or cancel any part of it and will post the change at our table and on ttrpgworld.com/comicon2026.
Liability: to the fullest extent permitted by law, by taking part you release TTRPG World LLC, L.A. Comic Con and its organizers, and Instagram/Meta from claims arising from the Promotion or any prize. Nothing in these rules limits rights you have under California law.
Your name and photo: we will only use a winner's name, photo or likeness in our posts with their permission, asked at the time.
Privacy: we use your email address to send TTRPG World updates as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell it, and every email has an unsubscribe link. We only look at Instagram handles to check follows, reposts and Backstory Sunday tags.
Law: these rules are governed by California law. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
Winners list: for the first names and last initials of the Daily Prize Draw winners, email support@ttrpgworld.com or write to the Sponsor's address in Section 2 by December 31, 2026.
Copies of these rules are available at our table and at ttrpgworld.com/comicon2026.
