WAITLIST AND PRE-ORDER POLICY

Last updated: 10/23/2026

Some of our items are sold as paid pre-orders or waitlist purchases: you pay now, and we print or restock the item and ship it to you soon after. This policy explains how that works and what happens if something is delayed.

1. What This Policy Covers

This policy applies whenever you pay now for an item that we will make or restock and ship to you later. That includes:

  • Waitlist and pre-order purchases on ttrpgworld.com, including purchases through a Squarespace payment link or a "pre-order" or "waitlist" product page.

  • Orders placed on ttrpgworld.com during an event (for example, when an item is not available at our L.A. Comic Con table). Items bought at our booth are handed over at the booth and are not pre-orders.

We ship pre-orders only to addresses in the United States. Items bought on Amazon or Etsy follow that marketplace's policies instead.

2. Our Shipping Promise

14 business days: Unless the product page states a different date, we will ship your pre-order within 14 business days after we receive your payment and complete order details (name, shipping address and email). Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding US federal holidays.

What "ship" means: We hand your package to USPS. Delivery time after that depends on the carrier; see our Shipping Policy.

Planning ahead: We only open a pre-order or waitlist when we have a reasonable basis to expect we can ship on time, based on our print capacity, materials on hand and the number of orders we have accepted. We may close a pre-order early if demand is more than we can make on time.

3. When You Are Charged

Your payment method is charged in full when you place the pre-order. If a promotional or event discount applies (such as a prize-wheel discount code), it can be used on pre-orders and you pay the discounted price at that time.

Your price is locked in: We will not charge you more later. Shipping on website pre-orders is free. Any sales tax is shown before you pay.

4. If Your Order Is Delayed

If we learn that we cannot ship by the promised date, we will email you before that date passes. The email will:

  • tell you how long the delay is expected to be, as a specific number of days or weeks, and give you the new shipping date;

  • tell you that you can cancel and receive a full refund, sent within 7 days of your request; and

  • give you a free and easy way to cancel, such as replying to the email or writing to support@ttrpgworld.com.

What happens next depends on the length of the delay:

  • Delay of 30 days or less: If the new shipping date is no more than 30 days after the original promised date, you can cancel at any time before we ship. If you don't cancel, we'll treat that as agreement to wait until the new date.

  • Delay of more than 30 days: We will keep your order open only if you tell us you want to wait. If we don't hear "yes, I'll wait" from you and we cannot ship within 30 days after the original promised date, we will cancel your order and refund you in full automatically.

  • You can always cancel: Even if you agreed to wait, you can still cancel at any time before we ship.

  • Another delay: If we again cannot meet a new date you agreed to, we will email you again before that date passes with the same options. If you don't tell us you want to keep waiting, we will cancel and refund your order.

  • No new date: If we cannot give you a new shipping date, we will cancel your order and refund you in full.

We keep records of order dates, shipping dates and delay notices so we can show we followed these steps.

5. Cancelling Your Pre-Order

Any time before shipping: You may cancel a pre-order for any reason at any time before it ships, for a full refund. Email support@ttrpgworld.com with your order number and the word "cancel." Once an order has shipped, our Return & Refund Policy applies instead.

If we cancel: We may cancel a pre-order if we cannot make the item (for example, because of a material shortage). If we do, we will email you and refund you in full.

6. Refunds

Full refund within 7 days: When a pre-order is cancelled for any reason before it ships, we refund the full amount you paid, including any shipping charge and tax, to your original payment method within 7 days after the order is cancelled.

If the original payment method doesn't work: We will refund you by check or another method we agree on within 7 days of finding the problem.

Bank timing: Your bank or card issuer may take a few more days to post the refund. We don't give store credit instead of a refund for a cancelled pre-order unless you ask for it.

Partial orders: If we can ship only part of an order and you cancel the rest, we refund the price of the items we did not ship, plus any shipping charge for them.

7. Limited Editions

What "limited" means: "Limited edition" or "limited run" means we will make only a limited quantity of that item or color, or sell it only for a limited time, as stated on the product page or on a sign at our booth.

Sky Blue and Lemon Juice: The Sky Blue and Lemon Juice SORTuX colors are limited editions. We will make no more than 18 units of each of these two colors, sold at L.A. Comic Con 2026 and through pre-orders until they sell out.

Sold out: When a limited edition sells out, we close the listing. If we cannot fill your paid limited-edition order, we will tell you and refund you in full, or offer a substitute only if you agree to it.

8. Made-to-Order Items and Color Variation

Pre-order items are printed for you after you order. Filament batches vary, so colors may differ slightly from photos and from other items in the same color, and layer lines and small surface marks are a normal part of 3D printing. These are not defects. See the Product Safety and Care section of our Terms of Service.
